Quietly growing, a tree
Slowly walking, a deer
Peacefully swimming, a fish
But then…
A loud chainsaw starts its engine
An arrow is being prepared
A boat makes its way through the river
And finally…
The tree has fallen to the ground
Two fawns have lost their mother
And the fish has been captured
Now I wonder…
What’s the point of growing?
What’s the point of walking?
What’s the point of swimming?
When there’s no chance to care
To let them be, to let them live
