In the darkness of night
A streak of tigers with all their might
Happened to pass through the woods
Near the trees where I stood
Their beautiful orange black stripes
Camouflaged well while hunting at night

A powerful animal, wild and strong
The jungle is where they rightly belong
This wild big cat looks distinct
Unbelievable to know about extinct

Shrinking forest, decrease in prey
Struggling hard night and day
Poaching, smuggling, illegal trade
The cause of the problem is man made
Parts used for traditional medicine
Be it bones, whiskers, or skin

Tigers are declining in number
Let’s save them from getting endangered
