In the eyes of a blind man,
There is darkness and grey.
What he cannot see he can still feel,
So we must choose what we say.
Light can’t enter,
But it is present within.
We must imagine how he feels,
Through thick and through thin.
We must support him,
We are his eyes,
We lift him through the day,
We let him rest in the night.
We must be kind and caring,
Give a nurturing path.
For in the eyes of a blind man,
He can only see through his heart.
