Does this formula seem familiar? In many communities across the world, those who hold insane amounts of power and, consequently, influence, also hold an insane fortune which makes almost everything easier for them. Unfortunately, this situation is not true for those who don’t have access to such fortune; the effort you have to put in every action is doubled, or even more than that. A common sight here in Paraguay are groups of people protesting in front of the courthouse and demanding justice for a case whose investigation hasn’t even started; this happens because the person involved in that case are not ‘’relevant’’ enough in the eyes of those in charge.
And that brings us to the formula; apparently, in order to be considered ‘’relevant’’ you have to stick to it. However, there are some exceptions. A powerful voice and a convincing speech might be all that you need to influence others. After that, you could have a group of people preaching the same speech with an even more powerful voice than originally; they will finally be ‘’relevant’’ enough. Although the status quo never changes without one powerful voice from the very beginning, we must never forget that without unity, nothing would change either. So, in order to change this silly formula, we must stand together and work as much as needed to preserve that unity, and stand strong.
