Everyone should live their lives in such a way that they are never tormented by the thought that they are somehow living wrong or wasting their time. To prevent this from happening, you can choose your purpose of life right now and persistently follow it. Only we can create it to be able to move on. The goal is to feel that altogether we are a part of something bigger than ourselves. It is great to know that we are needed. These things create the feeling of true happiness.
Ideas don’t appear complete at first. They clear up as you work on them. You just have to start. We all know that success needs a good idea and hard work. That’s why, if something doesn’t work out the first time, it is not the reason to give up! Go forward! It doesn’t matter what the others tell you. The biggest success is possible when you aren’t afraid to make mistakes or fail.
You should always think by yourself! No doubt, it is difficult. Decision-making needs a lot of self-control and courage. It is much easier to succumb to the accepted customs and traditions. To think independently means to decide what to believe in each situation and despite opposing opinions. On the other hand, you should always be ready to protect your ideas against criticism. When we accept or reject an opinion, make sure that you do so as a result of a critical evaluation of the arguments.
Anyone who is working for a big vision will risk getting called crazy (even if at the end he turns out to be right). Everybody who works with a complex problem will be accused of not fully understanding the scale of it. However, sometimes it is impossible to know everything about something at the beginning. Anyone who takes the initiative will be criticized for moving too fast. There will always be someone who wants to stop you.
Nobody is able to prosper in everything. But any success comes only with self-improvement and determination. To achieve the goal, it’s also important not to postpone for tomorrow. Here are two of Mark Zuckerberg’s quotes that I think can be useful for our self-development: “Create a world in which everyone has a sense of purpose.” “I never hoped to start a company – I hoped to influence the world.”
We often run like hamsters in one big wheel. We have lots of worries and forget that we need to rest. The human body has cumulative resources: if we rest well, we’ll be more efficient, and without the rest, our resources can’t be restored. However, you need to relax properly. During the rest, you shouldn’t plan something in advance. You need to completely indulge in relaxation. When we think about the future plans for work, our brains aren’t able to rest enough. As a result, anybody may have emotional burnout. Emotional burnout is a state of physical, emotional, and mental exhaustion. It can be caused by prolonged workload or crisis situations.
It is important to understand the ways to refresh yourself. Delicious food, a good movie, shopping, a heart-to-heart conversation with friends in a favorite place, going out in nature or some physical work in the cottage or garden are all excellent examples of chilling out. The main thing is to know and understand that when such stressful situations are repeated constantly, and you do nothing about it, burnout becomes chronic and goes to the level of frustration. You can’t get out of a state of stress and cure the emotional burnout syndrome if, during the rest, you think that you are wasting time for nothing and could do something more useful or that you are cheating your boss when you take a day off while others are working hard. No matter how much money you have in your wallet, it is important to be able to organize your vacation, enjoy your time with friends and family, or spend a relaxing evening in front of the TV.
