Family, a representation of a group of people who share the same heart. They live together and enjoy the happiness and grief of life. There are several ways my family expresses love and affection.

The first way is to accompany each other when a family member feels blue, maybe because of the huge stress from work or something that has troubled him in his life. Whenever one of our family members has gone through a bad day, we will sit together at the table and accompany him. It doesn’t matter whether he wants to talk about the trouble or not, we just give him some comforting words and huge hugs. Everything will be solved. Family is always the harbor we can rely on when we feel tired.

The second way is to give each other a surprise when it comes to anniversaries. Our family members are willing to prepare surprises because we all think that good memories should be kept deep inside the heart. We have a family album that is placed high in the cabinet. All of us love to print pictures and stick them in the album once a month to record our experience. When it comes time for the Spring Festival, which is the major festival in China, our family will share the photos and vote for the best photo of the year. I think that when each of us is sharing our lives, we are together as a family.

The last way our family members show love is to support each other and have each other’s backs. To be more specific, when one of our family members is trying to prepare for a job interview, all of us will be banded together like a strand of rope, motivating him and helping him to pass the interview. Last summer, my brother finally received a chance to have an interview at a company that he fancied. As a result, everyone tried hard to help him in the field they specialized in. The day after the interview, my brother received a letter that told him he was formally a employee at the company. Our family went to have dinner together to celebrate this. Of course, we took photos, and they are still in the album.

Although our family doesn’t show our love and affection with our words, we show them through our actions instead. We trust each other and do whatever an individual can do to help the rest of our family. All of us know that we are a family full of love.
